Membership

Membership in the Boro Park Y entitles one to participate in a variety of cultural, educational and recreational programs. The privilege of membership includes full and exclusive, to members only, the use of the Y's health and fitness faciltiies - 2 indoor pools, well equipped exercise room, gymnasium, exercise classes sauna and steam room according to the designated schedules. Members receive priority registration for classes at a reduced fee for classes that are not included in the membership category. Membership in the Y is both a right and a privilege - please conduct yourself in a respectful manner to the other members and to the Y staff.  Together we can create a positive environment for everyone to enjoy!

It is the primary goal of the  Y Board of Directors and staff to provide service to all members of the community. There are currently no scholarships available but we can provide a payment plan.

Each member will receive a non-transferable membership card as soon as the membership is paid in full. All Adults over the age of 18 must take a picture in the Y office to receive a membership card. The card must be carried at all times when in the center. If you do not have your membership card please stop at the Y office for a temporary pass.

Guest Pass

One day guest passes are available for purchase with the following conditions:

• A local resident may purchase a guest pass one time a year
• A one month guest pass for a visitor to our community can be purchased for $100.00 and is not renewable
• Fee for Guest Pass - $25 for an adult   $10 for a child ages 6- 12. Sunday program activities are not available as a guest. All guests are at the discretion of the management.
•  A guest pass can be credited towards membership only within 24 hours of purchase

All guest passes are at the discretion of management

Illness or Injury

If you are unable to use the Y facilities for any medical reason, you must contact the Y Office and supply the office with a doctor's note indicating he dates from when to when you could not participate in the swim and gym program. You can only receive one extension per year for a maximum of one month.

There are no extensions for summer or winter vacations or trips.

Refund Policy

There are no refunds on membership! Refunds on classes cancelled by the Y management are 100%. Cancellation of registration by the participant prior to the first class will be refunded with a $10 cancelllation fee. After the first class there are no refunds.

Returned Checks

There is a $25.00 fee for all returned checks and your membership will be cancelled if not paid in full.
