Special Needs

The Boro Park Y is an all inclusive agency whose mission is to involve all members of the community in its programs.

The Y is hancdicapped accessible via a ramp into and out of the building and there is elevator access to all floors.

Individuals with special needs are encouraged to participate in all of our programs that meet their interests and needs.

We request that you to meet with the  supervisory staff prior to beginning membership  to fully interpret the different program options the Y offers.
This will insure that you receive optimum benefit from our activities and progams.

Parents of children or case managers of young adults should contact the Y for information on the aquatics and exercise programs. The small pool will be equipped with a lift for those who are unable to use the steps.
